Chembra Peak

Edakkal Caves
Another popular place you must visit during your trip to Wayanad is the Edakkal Caves. These caves are known for the ancient pictorial depictions, dating back to 6000 BC. To reach the cave, tourists are required to do a short trek across the Ambukuthi Mala. After a trek of about 45 min, the sight of the wondrous caves is totally worth the effort. Entry to the caves start at 8 a.m. in the morning and one can stay there till 4 p.m.
